Turning 50? So what?

In a couple of months from now I will be turning 50...and I am asking myself, so what? What's 50? I feel that I have just turned 25. It's true...and I own it all to running. I picked up running in my mid 30's. Back then It felt like I was doing my late 50's. What a change? On March 3rd, I will be running my 82nd marathon. It doesn't matter what place I finish, all it matters is to be be there in every mile of the way. It's funny that after all these marathons that I've ran I never broke my best time of 4:20. My average finishing time these days is apex. 5:30 minutes. I can do 4:40 easily...but I don't want to. I guess this is the secret in doing marathons's back to back and never get injured. I love my pace, and every mile that I bank. At 50, with three little kids of 2, 5, and 8 years od age, I feel like a kid my self.

I love to share my stories and experiences of running. By the way my running portofolio includes 12 untra marathons and 2 (12) hours racings...well, talk to me if you want my amature guidelines, which made me 25 years younger.

Keep it up.
