The Wall?

I'm a 52 year old, 5'10", 160lb male and I'll be running my first full marathon in two weeks. I ran a half-marathon in 2 hours last spring without much difficulty. I've been training for 4 months and initially had some trouble (foot pain) on some of the longer (10+) runs. I've reduced this greatly by getting the proper shoe for my foot type. I'm an overpronator and need a support type shoe. Since running in the new shoes now my foot doesn't give me much more grief than the rest of my body (knees, hips etc.). I'm concerned though now that I won't be able to run the full 26 miles. I tried last week and pooped out around 20 miles. I wasn't able to hydrate much during that run and that might have been a good part of my problem, but from what I've heard of the wall, I'm not sure that's why I couldn't make it. I seem to gradually start wearing down and tightening up, getting soar to the point where at the 20 mile mark or 3.5 hours in, I just can't seem to keep moving. Yeah, I could walk ok, but if I try to start running again after walking, it just doesn't work. Everything is just too tight and soar. Am I just being a wimp, is this really "the wall", or will staying hydrated help me avoid this gradual decline in performance throughout the race? Id really like to "run" the entire 26.2 miles and if it's simply a matter of mind over matter, I can do that (I think). But if there's something else going on here, maybe someone has some ideas?
