So I am a relatively new runner. While I have run several half marathons, 2010 was my first year of fulls. I ran Miami ING January 2010 and Las Vegas December 2010. I PR'd in Vegas, by 12 minutes, but HATED... I mean HATED, the second half of the course. For 2011/2012, my friends and I are looking into another destination run. I suggested Napa Valley in March 2012. Some of the other suggestions are Chicago in Oct. 2011 or Atlantic City in October 2011. I am very much interested in what your opinions and thoughts are as to the best destination marathon. I am a relatively slow runner, time can be a issue when a race ends at 6 hours. My best full time is 5:26. Thanks for all the advice and help you all can give me.
