HELP! Looking for experienced marathon Moms for help in coming up with a training program for my 2nd marathon in Detroit in Oct. 2008. Currently logging 50mi weeks (6x week, LR 12-18mi) - ran my first in 4:09 - goal would be to improve training and overall time - Ultimate goal -BQ at a 3:45-3:50. Appreciate any thoughts, insight, etc - especially when it comes to total weekly mileage, long run distances, nutrition and the effect of monthly cycle on training!
