I am just coming back from a long vacation from running. I started my sophmore year in college and it took up all my time and my favorite pass time (running) took a back burner. Plus I'll admit I was pretty burned out after a summer full of hard core races.
So basically I'm coming back after about a year long absence. I mean, I've run a few time on and off in the last year but not die hard like I use to.
What I need are some suggestions to keep me motivated. My problem is that every time I hit the pavement I expect my body to be able to do what it use to. But that just isn't logical and my body agrees. It's a little discouraging and I just need something to keep me going so I can get to the point where I really enjoy it again.
I really miss being able to full on run for miles and not do the walk/jog I do now.
Thanks for anything that helps.
