Menopause and pace???

Question. I just posted another post about running with a torn labrum, and how slow it is making me go. But, I am 41, and think I'm going through "the change" but can't get anyone to believe me. I barely have periods at all (maybe last a day at most). I am not dangerously underweight at all - I am 5'8" and 158 pounds ( I would like to lose 20 pounds, but can't do it). However, I have many other symptoms of menopause, and would like to ask if other female runners have noticed a slow-down in their pace due to these changes? I'm not upset at all about going through it, but would like to know if I will be able to get my pace back to where it was last year (pre menopause symptoms and injuries).
