Voodoo, I am so proud of you! As I'm sure all of your other friends and family are too. You are such an embodiment of what I see the marathon journey as: perseverance over any and all obstacles. It was such a long journey, and I really hope you can look back on it and see that it was worth it. You are so incredibly awesome, so inspirational... I feel like starting that journey again. I wonder if you will too in time... I mean, being under 5:00 pace at the halfway point on a brutal, brutal course, with an extended taper due to injury, it makes me think that you would have blown me away on a easier course like Vegas. Wow. Yay! (Please forgive my gushing!)
Put that medal someplace prominent.
