4-Year Presenting Sponsorship Deal with LeftLaneSports.com

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA -- The San Luis Obispo Marathon + Half is pleased to
announce a 4-year Presenting Sponsorship deal with LeftLaneSports.com, a
premiere, online sporting goods retailer based in San Luis Obispo that

The overall 4-year partnership and sponsorship agreement is estimated to be
valued at over $1 million. The deal is comprised of three elements:
Sponsorship, Revenue Share, and Marketing. The Sponsorship segment includes
Left Lane Sports being named as the Presenting Sponsor. The event will be
named The San Luis Obispo Marathon + Half presented by LeftLaneSports.com.
The Revenue Share element is comprised of a share of Left Lane Sports
online sales generated by the SLO Marathon and from the merchandise tent
that will be available during the three day event. And finally, the
marketing efforts will include significant promotion by both parties to
promote the marathon at both a local and national level.

The Inaugural San Luis Obispo Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K attracted 3800
registered runners and created a $3 million economic impact to the county.
It’s partnership with Team in Training helped their participants raise
$500,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The race expects to attract
9000 registered runners and potentially create up to $7.5 million in
economic impact in 2013. The 5K race will be run on Saturday, April 6,
2013. The Marathon + Half will run Sunday, April 7.

downtown corridor past the old Fremont Theatre, Mission San Luis Obispo,
19th Century brick buildings downtown and through neighborhoods with
Victorian and Craftsman bungalows, out into the rolling hills of the Edna
Valley vineyards and farm land, then back into the city center, past
Railroad Square and onto the iconic Madonna Inn property for a spectacular
downhill, panoramic finish in the shadow of Cerro San Luis.
The 5K race is held on the Madonna Inn property, a 2 loop course with a
spectacular downhill finish.
