I got fitted for orthotics, as I am an overpronator also. I had inner knee pain prior to the use of the orthotics when running. It took me just a few days to get accustomed to them and now I do not feel right without them. I had to "re-learn" how to push off the front of my feet, instead of just off my big toe. That was the only learning curve for me. Now I only have other muscular pain from training more. Good luck!
