Weight lost versus race time improvements

I remember reading an article in RW awhile back that had some generic guidelines as to how much you can improve your race times by losing specific amounts of weight. Anybody out there have a link to that (or similar) articles? I'm trying to lose one pound per week between now and the RnR Half in Va Beach this coming Labor Day and was looking for a possible way to estimate how much (if any) improvement there would be in my race time. Any input would be appreciated!
