Hi all, I am planning running my first marathon in the fall - Detroit. I think I am experieincing the the onset of shin splints. UGH! I will need to take 2 to 3 week soff of running to heal properly. Can I take the time off from running and still be ready for a full marathon? I am up to running 9 miles now. I have run 4 half marathons in the past 2 years.
Will I be ready for the full in Detroit? Please give any advice :-)
