Anti-inflammatory

Stacey, I know your marathon relay is long behind. But I wanted to make a comment on taking anti-inflammatory medication (such as motrin, advil, aleve etc( before a run. I was told by a physical therapist that since these medications are to reduce the inflammation (caused by engorged blood vessles trying to repair dammage) they will reduce blood flow to muscles we need for the run. In your case and with lots of cramps I would probably pop a few advils myself. But just wanted to share what I was told. Anyone else who could validate or discredit what I was told would be great.
