Age General Physical Fitness Are you starting from 0 miles run? What do you do for exercise how tall are you and weight? what are you goals for the marathon? How much time until the marathon?

IMHO opinion - someone young and generally active and in good health. Could start by running / jogging 5x a week 20-25 miles. They key is going to be to run them slow. Just because you can run 2 @ 8:20 pace, you should be running everything slower - 9:30 pace for 4-6 weeks and just build up mileage.
