I would say have your body fat tested and at age 47 if it is under 10% leave it alone. Not everyone has a frame / low upper body muscle to be "Ideal"

I read a book once that said that you have potentail to be a very good runner is your weight in pounds in 2x you height in inches.

So I an 6'2 and 1/2 = 145 pounds - My race weight is @ 205 - I do OK (2:45 Marathon). I will never weigh 145, but maybe 175.
