Yes-keep HR down. Doc is a runner with one Marathon. I agree that 5 and 10K might be harder due pace and HR. I will try a half next month. Keeping the rate down is not fun, but it not that difficult. The problem with 26.2 is the last 6 (as you know) I will have to look at the past few again and see what my HR was in last third. I will just work on it and see how it all goes. I am just bothered with the idea of no more marathons—more than I thought I would be. It is all head stuff...thanks.
