I was reading some old posts and you made a sample schedule of training for 7 weeks based on a "base mileage" system with running every other day. How would this look for a half marathon with about 115 days until the race?
I just started training doing long runs with a group on Saturdays or Sundays (I can choose which so that will be able to be alternated). When I say "long runs", its not long right now...we started with 3 miles yesterday and then I ran 1 mile today. Note, I am not in good shape right now...the 3 miles was tough for me and I am really on a walk/run pattern right now. I am just completely lost when it comes to figuring out what I should do in between our long runs. I am about as much of a first-time runner as you can get.
