I'm guessing this is long enough to allow for training for the full. I'm already in a great local training group for the half.
To do a 16-week training program for the full marathon, I'd have to start on January 9, in the dead of winter. I'm more than a bit nervous about running in the winter, any suggestions? Should I just keep up my mileage after the half marathon and only train for maybe 8 weeks or completely reset my mileage to do the entire 16 week program? Thanks.
