I am a breakfast eater, I love breakfast, it's my favorite meal. I can usually eat anything I want and it won't mess with my stomach. However, on race mornings, no matter what the length I always have stomach issues even before the race starts regardless of what I eat.
I ate breakfast, which consisted of Nature's Path Oatmeal and a plain bagel, three hours before my latest marathon. I had to hit "the facilities" as soon as I got there and just after the half way point in the race. This is very annoying!!!
Does anyone have any suggestions about food that works for you?
