Amanda, Giving blood is an extremely generous and admirable thing to do, but running a marathon is an extemely difficult physical task which requires your body to be in the best physical and physiological condition possible when toeing the line. Reducing your blood supply just prior to your last long run and so close to your marathon may not be the best idea. Is there any reason that you can't wait until after the race to donate? I can't remember how long it takes a body to replenish the blood lost from donating but it's a little while and you may feel sluggish and heavy on runs for a number of weeks. I would wait until after the race if I were you. Good luck!
