Hi! How are you? I am sooo busy with school, but we had a break this week so I could visit the board. Oh, no... I'm not sure I'm doing Houston... I am sooooo slow... and I haven't had much time to run either... Last week the weather was awful and I was super busy. I didn't even bother trying to sneak in a run because I would have resented it. I don't want to lose my love for running. But this week the weather was glorious so I ran every day. But I am slow. Today I ran a tiny half marathon. Flat as a pancake and a bit windy, but just a bit. Well... it's true that my legs weren't fresh and I didn't have any carbs last night and I am trying to lose weight so I am not eating well... I was the winner with the terrible time of 1:47. I was almost ashamed... it was cool to get bring some bucks home, though... but 1:47???? Houston would be just a waste of mine and money... :( Also, I still feel my tummy. It doesn't hurt but I "feel" it and it gets swollen a bit. Do you have any ideas about what I can do? I'll register for Boston in February. If I don't run Houston, I might consider Austin... or just Boston. happy thanksgiving!
