You are not hijacking at all. I want to hear experiences. But I guess that now, since it's been three weeks since my surgery, I can refine my question this way: When did you stop feeling pain or discomfort? The day of the surgery started with me at the track doing great and with high hopes for a 3:25 marathon. If the Yasso formula is accurate, at least it was predicting that. I was in the best shape of my life. In less than two hours I was in the E.R. Last week the doctor told me 4 more weeks of no running. I looked at her with horror. Today, as I still feel pain in my abdminal muscles 24/7 I do believe her. And I even wonder if she's being a little too optimistic. So... when did you feel fine and happy and comfortable again? Or did you run through pain as if it "just" were ITB or plantar fasciitis? How funny, ITB grounded me once for three months...
