I would think this would be fine and pretty quick to digest. Yummy too!
I like a banana with a bit of peanut butter, or a piece of peanut butter toast or a rice cake with peanut butter. (As you can see, I'm a huge peanut butter fan! ;) Sometimes some jelly too. Or I'll eat a powerbar or half of a powerbar (depending on how long/ intense the run). I eat any of those about half an hour before a run. Or I eat raisin bran or bran flakes with a banana, about 45 minutes to an hour before a run, because otherwise the milk sits funny in my stomach and it takes a bit longer to digest.
