Creatine and exercise induced asthma

Do some searching on the web and you will see quite a few postings documenting a side effect of creatine... exercise induced asthma. I'd stay away from creatine as it is mostly a benefit for short, intense, bursts of energy. Not something a distance runner needs. Also, I used to use creatine occassionally during weight training and noticed it made me have to urinate very frequently. This was quite an annoyance even during three mile runs. The urination thing lasted for about two weeks after getting off and would start several days after going back on. Consider a strategy of good nutrition and experiment with different types of carb food during running (GU, power bar etc.)
