Anita - Roswell has a half marathon and full marathon in September also. I ran the half a few years ago. Not very many people participated and it was along the highway! The cool thing about this marathon is that it started before the sun came up and a local group of motorcycle guys/girls would ride behind the runners and light up the path until the sun came up. I am thinking about doing the half in September - I won't be ready for a full until October.
