I was too was having problems with my knee from IT Band Injury. Useally kicked in at about 4 miles and was training for Cleveland Marathon. About 2 weeks b/f the race I started some physical therapy - ultrasound & lazar treatments along with exercises and lots of ice. I also rested 3 days in a row b/f the race. I ran knee pain free most of the race. I am planning on cont. to do my exercises to stay pain free. Good luck!
