I also have no problem with Chuck Engle. I actually admire what he is doing. I run 6 marathons a year and tend to go to the bigger races. This is due to the fact that I have found races I like. I have won 4 marathons in my race career (Erie 1999-2001 and Houston 2001) and no matter the size of the race no one can ever take away the fact that you crossed the line first. Hats off to Chuck Engle, I applaud his efforts. I know after 6 marathons in a year my legs are trashed. Also props to Jon Walk here, I have corresponded with him on a direct basis. He contributes to a running blog on the Houston Chronicle.
