On Saturday I did my 20 mile run in my newer running shoes. I think they are a bit too small and now both of my toenails on my big toes are black and blue. They are sore to the touch and it feels as though they are being pushed up. Is there anything I can do to make them stop hurting or at least so that I can continue running? Should I continue to run in my shoes which I guess are a little too small or should I go back to my old shoes which are very worn? Is there any way to stretch out the toes of sneakers at all?

Thanks.
