I'm interested in training to walk a half marathon and would welcome any advice on training. I just have no idea how to go about this. I walk now 5 miles at 4.5/miles/hr or 8 miles at 3.5/miles/hour on flat ground with a medium hill at the end that is difficult to make it up by the end of my walk but do-able.
I'm female and 140 pounds (if that matters).
Advice on water during and food before and after a walk would be helpful also.
