Hey girls, I just had baby #3 by c-section in Nov. I ran through all pregnancies as long as my body would allow (~ 32 weeks) and then walked a ton. Started running again 4 weeks after surgery and it was hard each time. However, adding a little speedwork/hills whipped me right back into shape. It helps to have a race goal to motivate you. I also push a double stroller and have my oldest ride his bike along with me, it's great together time. Boston will be my 15th marathon next month and I'm anticipating a good race. My body has also held onto a little "extra" but typically does because I breastfeed. Being a mom is awesome but also very tiring and puts your own needs on the back burner. Continuing to run is great for you AND your family! Keep it up!
