I guess I learned nothing about hockey while playing it for over 20 years. Including, tournaments in Boston, a hockey hotbead and home to America's oldest franchise.
Yes, I've experienced the thrill of the short 30-45 second bursts and also the agony when I couldn't get off on a line change once that lasted close to two minutes. The comment I made about legs came from a high school coach who made us run herendous distances. I guess all high school coaches do that. Whether its basketball, soccer or hockey they love conditioning.
I did find humor in a former Montreal Canadien running fast through the streets of Boston. Maybe he was worried for his life.
I think you maybe upset that Boston gave Raymond Bourque a chance to win a cup in your back yard.
