I agree that a 14 year old can make big improvements just by adding a year. I'm 30 years old. I started following his training program about 1 1/2 years ago. Since then, I've improved by 5K race times by close to a minute, my 10 mile by 3 minutes, and my marathon by 15 mins. I'm training a bit more consistently and putting in a bit more mileage, but I wasn't slouching before, I just couldn't seem to avoid injuries! I think I was overdoing it on my hard runs. This program's helped me avoid that, plus improve areas I was neglecting before.
