Hi, I am a 19 year old college student attempting to run my first marathon in two weeks. It is the Folsom to Sac marathon which is supposedly mostly flat. I have read "4monthes to a 4hour marathon" and some random fitness articles from my roommates dad who runs marathons frequently. I have gotton up to 18 miles in one run and 21miles in two seperate runs on the same day. Will I be alright? I am banking on the fact that I have a history of cross country running in highschool and swam competitively until my first year here at UCLA. I was wondering if anyone could give me a basic overview of what to do these next two weeks taper-wise? (running, sleeping, cross traing, EATING, water). What do I do the day before a marathon (was told not a lot of walking)? What do I do about rubbing of shorts on my thighs (was told aspandex)? Am I to young? Anything will help, thank you and sorry its so much
