While it is true that elite runners (say sub 230) are not generally affected by the Penguins I think a great deal of the frustration felt by "committed recreational runners", aside from the races filling up very quickly, lies with the lack of race etiquette of some penguins and the attitude pointed out by Lee above... Things like sprinting the first 200m of the race!, spilling over the cones delimiting the course in an out-and back race... There seem to be a general feeling that the interest of the non elite serious runners are forgotten. Post a reply on the Bulletin Board
