How am I being a hypocrite? I've run marathons on my own and through charity groups, never cheated, never encouraged anyone else to cheat, and agree with most everyone else here that cheaters shouldn't get a medal or be posted in the results. I don't have a problem with fast runners, slow walkers or the vast majority of marathon participants that are somewhere in between. That's part of the joy of the marathon...seeing people from all walks of life competing for different reasons. My only issue here was people like Bambi, Cricket and several others that lump together all charity participants as cheaters or fat or lazy or all other manner of absurd assumptions. In case you didn't get it, my idea for a race for the incredibly rude posters here that made those assumptions was a sarcastic response to them to illustrate how ridiculous it is to say we need separate races for everyone so no one gets offended by having to run with anyone that's remotely different.
