For most, TNT is an outstanding experience

I trained with Team in Training for my 1st marathon (MCM) 4 years ago and could not have been more pleased with the experience. My Upstate NY coaches and mentors were outstanding; preparing me through weekend long runs, mid-week interval and hill training, shoe clinics, injury advice and mental toughness. Since TNT, given the tools provided to me by TNT, I have run 5 marathons and become addicted to the sport of running. I had a personal motivation to raise money for the Leukemia Society, but even if I wasn't so connected, the value I received far outweighed the money I raised. To this day, after moving across the country, I still stay in contact with my TNT coach and mentor. They not only taught me how to run marathons, they taught me a lot about life.

All that said, a marathon is 26.2 miles period, no shortcuts, no rationalization for cutting corners. Do the work, train hard, follow your plan, or pay the price of not finishing. Period.
