My thoughts, for what they are worth. I just completed the Ntelos 8k, which is part of the Richmond Marathon, and I did well, finishing 9th in my age group. I would not even buy a Richmond Marathon long sleeve t shirt that was on sale to anyone, because I could not wear it knowing I did not complete the race. I have been running for years, and just do not understand why novices have to complete a marathon, when shorter 5k's, etc, would be better for them. Post a reply on the Bulletin Board
