I ran the Detroit Marathon in Oct 2004. It was my first am already training for this year's race. I would go to one of the several Hanson Running Stores in the metro area if you are local. I had an amazing experience - tons of support, very well organized, great expo, and opportunities to see Detroit in a way only participants in this race can. The Ambassador Bridge is fantastic, tunnel, Belle Isle, Indian Village, Brew at 22 (Beer for any takers)! Would love to answer any race specific questions you might have. Amy H
