I've made a lot of posts here in this vein so I won't put much down here, but Britta, you might want to be sure you're getting in enough protein. I second the person above who stated that your body might "think" it's in starvation mode. This can happen if you get in "enough calories" as well, but your protein intake is too low. If you have the ability to do so, check out a book like "Protein Power" about adequate protein intake per day.
