I am 56, did my first marathon in Jan of 05. Started training for the San Diego in Jun. Became ill and lost about 6 weeks of training. I never got up to the miles that I wanted. Low energy and increased work load. June rolled around and soon I was on the starting line at San Diego. I suffered a few more aches and pains during but I was able to complete it in about the same time. You will do fine.
