The Body Glide is a good idea. I've had bad experiences with the "wings" on a lot of pads. I'm a heavier runner and probably experience heavier periods, so I doubt an ultra thin pad is going to save me. I'm also concerned about adhesion to my underwear if it's a warm day and I sweat, run under hoses, more than usual.
I'll try your advice since it looks from the calendar like I'll be in that situation for sure come race day. Thanks again!
