question for SMP (and others!)

Remember me? I'm the one that had the plantar fasciitis for a year. I started running again 2 months ago, very slowly. I do a mile run during the week, and a 3 mile on the weekend. This weekend I will do a 4 miler. My question is how do you get over the psychological fear? I just keep thinking I'm going to re-injure myself & it does not make running fun. Also, how do you know when to bump up the mileage? I ice my foot after the run, & take motrin on the day I run. It isn't getting worse, but the foot is still weak in that area. I want to run more but have never been in this position before so not sure where to go from here.
