Postpartum marathon training

I'm looking for advice from anyone who has run a marathon within a year after having a baby. I've run three marathons, all of them after I had my first child, but I didn't do the first one until he was 2.5 yrs old.

Now that I'm pregnant with number 2, I am looking forward to getting back on the long distance running bandwagon (as I'm in my 8th month now, I can only do about 2 miles or so - and that is alternating walking with 9 min/mile jogs!!). What is a reasonible time frame to consider for training for my next marathon? I'm looking at races 4-6 months post partum. Does that sound about right? My family (read my husband and mother!) think it is too soon - but then they think I'm crazy for running 26.2 miles!! Thanks in advance for any advice!
