Krista, I was training for the Suzuki Rock and Roll Marathon in June when over the winter I had the same problem. It's very scarey and unexplainable. Please go have it checked out to be on the safe side. The statistics are scarey, even at a young age. I had a colonoscopy and blood work, which all came out normal........explanation: I was possibly loosing too many fluids from the intestines, causing irritation of the bowel, to the point of bleeding. Please follow-up! You just never know!!! Post your email if you want more specific help or ideas.
