How did you do in your 5K? Are you where you want to be speed-wise? I've often wondered about the camel water system. It seems the most efficient. I've tried everything so far - including the fuel belt and think I'm ready to design the ideal belt - one where the holder slants to the right (already in existence) but it has a tune belt - which could be used for either a walkman or a gels. Well, it's now time for serious taper - after a 10 miler at MRP today. This is the hardest part of the training for me - I start to get real antsy the last week before a marathon. You only have a couple weeks before your 1/2 too right? Do you taper for a week before it too? BTW - Garmin is working like a charm - should be all set for the race. There was a bit of a hiccup with it when they transferred the old data over to the new unit. Seems there was corrupt data from the old unit and therefore it wasn't registering the new data. Again, their service department resolved the problem quickly. I had to wipe out all the old runs I did and start fresh.
