I will be leave very early on Sunday morning and arrive on race day. A backup plan would be to find a Motel 6 or Budget Inn and stay over on Saturday night. I am not familiar with the course nor have I ever been to Buffalo. Hopefully, the cool waters of Lake Erie will keep the course temperature low. I like the date of the race as it doesn't conflict with the other spring marathons nearby. A person can run Pittsburgh or Cleveland and also run Buffalo. There is enough recovery time in between to do well in both races. I hope many people enter this race with its low entry fee. Entry fees for some races have been getting to the point where a person has to be extremely wealthy to enter. A lot of people don't have that amount of money to contribute to the cash awards for the top runners. I also congratulate the Buffalo race organizers for keeping the entry fee at the reasonable amount of $20.
