I have noticed significant hair loss in the past 2 - 3 weeks. I have been running for about one year now & trained for my first 10K (7 miler) this past summer. I fear that I may have pushed my body beyond it's limits & now my hair is falling out. I run btw 16 - 20 miles a week and my daily caloric intake hovers about 1,500 calories/day. Since shedding hair, I've upped my caloric intake & have started to eat ALOT more protein & be better about taking vitamins each day. Any other suggestions for reducing hair loss? Should I stop running for awhile? Also, I have VERY low body fat - can anyone else relate?
