I am preparing for my first marathon in June and just did 16 miles - my longest ever - yesterday. Afterward, in the shower, I noticed I had a red, stinging mark just below the bust, where the wide elastic band of my sports bra had been. Now it looks like the shallow scabs that cover a minor scrape. I'd never had this problem before. How do you avoid this? As a 34A, I am tempted to forgo the bra, and just wear form-fitting lycra tanks with no elastic band. Thanks!
