I was having the same problem along with huge blisters. Tried everything from various socks (i sweat a ton including my feet), BodyGlide, Vaseline, etc. The problem ended up being the shoes. I went to a different running store than the one I had gotten my first pair of shoes at and expalined my problem to the sales person. My feet were so bad I was emabrrased too show him my feet. He looked at my feet and brought out 1/2 dozen shoes. He was very patient and I finally found the right pair. They even offered me the option to bring back the shoes after doing my weekend long run of 14 miles ! They worked out great and I just bought a second pair online as they do not make th eshoe anymore so they only had the one pair I bought. I got the Brooks Trance NXG, but everyone's feet are different and you'll just have to try shoes until you find one that fits comfortably. Hopefully you will have a knowledgable and patient sales person too. Good luck ! I know how frustrating it is.
