Columbus is definitely fast. Approx. 3500 people, really wide roads and flat as a board. The city is not particularly exciting(I'm from Columbus, I am allowed to say that), but the race really is great. It is really well organized too. Chicago is really fast if you qualify for one of the "seeded" numbers (otherwise you will get lost in the hoards). I've also heard very good things about Detroit. I'm considering that one.
