This is a good thread! I decided to join the 50 States Marathon Club this year. That meant I had to run 5 more states. I've already done that and more. I'm running my 7th marathon this year (14 overall) Dec. 6 at the Tescmah Trail Marathon in Indiana.
I also just ran the Wichita Marathon. I think the friendliest people ran this marathon. The volunteers were great but it was the runner's themselves that impressed me. It's interesting to see the differences in people across our great nation.
I'm also using the HalHigdon.com program. Especially the mulitple marathons. I'm just adding a few extra miles to those long runs.
